--June 6, 2005 - Jon Nelson (Escape Mechanism) wins award with Adam Sultan for Best Original Score for "Fear of a Fuhrer" (Abi Basch) at the Austin Critics Table Awards ceremony..

--May 2, 2005 - Splatt CD reviewed by Matt Shimmer for Indieville.

--December 31, 2004 - Splatt CD makes Tiit Kusnet's "Top Ten Records of 2004" in the Estonian daily paper, "Postimees."

-- December 1, 2004 - Splatt CD reviewed in "Diffusion" (Sonic Arts Network, London).

-- November 21, 2004 - "World of Splatt" played on the Jimmy Possession Show on 209 Radio (UK).

--November 10, 2004 - Eesti Radio's Klassikaraadio (Estonia) did a scattered focus on Recombinations artists, Wednesday, November 10th on its Fantaasia radio program.

--November 1, 2004 - Resonance FM (London's “first radio art station”) programmed a short feature on Recombinations on their Big Ears radio show, playing tracks by Splatt and Escape Mechanism.

--October/November 2004 - Rift Magazine reviews Splatt CD and Cast of Thousands with Escape Mechanism CD.

--September 2004 - The Wire reviews The Coherent Encoherence CD and Splatt CD.

--September 2004 - Escape Mechanism nominated for a Minnesota Music Award.

--September 2004 - Ink 19 reviews The Coherent Encoherence CD.

--July 21, 2004 - City Pages reviews Cast of Thousands with Escape Mechanism CD.

--June/July 2004 - Splatt and Cast of Thousands with Escape Mechanism CDs receiving airplay on college radio stations, including KUOM, WMUH, WREK and WXDU. "World of Splatt" is in the top 7 at WCSB.

--June 27, 2004 - Chemical Theater, Cumulus and Some Assembly Required Present a CD release party for RECOMBINATIONS recording artists Splatt, Escape Mechanism and the Coherent Encoherence, at the Kitty Cat Klub in Dinkytown, Minneapolis. Featuring performance by PANZRAM, Emotional Joystick and Battleplan Stan, and a special film presentation: “ Minneapolis Summit ” (A short, documentary-style music video featuring a collaborative performance by Escape Mechanism, Steev Hise, The Tape-beatles and Wobbly). DJ sets by Clint Simonson, Dolores Dewberry and Jon Nelson of Some Assembly Required.
